Face Of The Month
Diagnosed May 2019
About me: I was busy and happy with my career in retail management (30+ years). Through my job, I was able to have a positive impact on the community, doing multiple charity events: the majority of which were helping women and children in some form or fashion.
I am now retired, (as working is a liability for the retail world): a stay-at-home person but try to remain positive and social. (Most of the time, it's via internet)
I have terrific support from my family and so far I'm able to remain in a good place mentally.
Parkinson's is definitely an individualized disease and can't be generalized. We all suffer differently.
My weapons of choice are attitude and laughter. Those got me this far and they'll continue until it's time to go!
Each month I will feature new faces and share their stories. If you would like to be considered, and/or even being a part of current or future projects, just send me a black and white photo of you face, a brief bio to firstname.lastname@example.org, and I will get back to you.
